The black belt degrees ("Dan" in Japanese) of the instructors of the Dubai Dojo are official degrees delivered by the International Karate Organisation Kyokushinkaikan  (IKO) based in Tokyo (Japan).

The Dan attribution is validated through a rigorous examination that lasts a few hours, carried out as per the standards and syllabus of the IKO, and which includes several rounds of fights in full contact rules.
The instructors travelled regularly to Japan to attend the World Open Tournament (2007, 2011, 2015) and to participate in training camps organised by the IKO (Mount Mitsumine Camp).

Training sessions are group sessions articulated around Kihons (techniques), Katas (forms) and Kumite (full contact sparring) as taught and promoted by the IKO.
